Their documentation (as seen on the first post of this thread) listed AMP 16 as "Available in January or February". I haven't seen any updates yet.Wasn't AMP 16 scheduled for the end of January or did I get it wrong with February??

Maybe a CanJam debut?

Also a quick update on my experience with battery life. I just got 48 hours out of my DX340. Mostly idle during that time. Probably 6ish hours of play back streaming from Tidal app and Tidal via UAPP.
I'm satisfied with that.

I really like Mazda too, except for this, which apparently all car makers are doing now.I like Mazda as a car company.
I had a Mazda 323 4x4 Rally many years ago.
Back when Mazda were in the World Rally Championship.
Gosh that was 28 years ago![]()
I looked into this, called a car audio shop and there is no way to add a line in to any new existing car infotainment system. Only thing that works is BT or android auto. Both are pathetic compared to what this thing can do.
So those of us that want to play this beautiful piece of equipment in the car to all its glory are SOL. Very unfortunate.

What he is saying is that any new car with Carplay / Android Auto without a 3.5mm Aux In, there is no way to retrofit it...... I've also tried and no dice. I've got a 21 Speaker / 1050 W Lexicon Souund system in my car. It's incredible and they kneecap it with AAC BT even when wired.... It's the same sound system as my last car without AA and it had a 3.5 in.... I upgraded my vehicle but it downgraded my sound system. Not all, some still have 3.5mm AUX

I have usb c in. But infotainment doesn't recognize any of my DAPs. Shows as "unsupported USB device".Some still has 3.5mm. I thought he said all new cars. I think a friend 2025 x5 that doesnt have 3.5mm , though offers USB in so that he could listen to upto 198Khz or so when we spoke last time

Many ports are type C. I think only 1 or 2 ports can recognize USB. You have to ask the dealer for that. It cant be a DAP. Gotta be HDDI have usb c in. But infotainment doesn't recognize any of my DAPs. Shows as "unsupported USB device".
That’s just a shame that you can’t use your 340 as a DAC in your car!I have usb c in. But infotainment doesn't recognize any of my DAPs. Shows as "unsupported USB device".

According to mazda, it has to be a usb storage device (storage only) formatted to FAT32.Many ports are type C. I think only 1 or 2 ports can recognize USB. You have to ask the dealer for that. It cant be a DAP. Gotta be HDD

Does any one have the Aroma Audio Fei Wan and how is the synergy with the DX340?
Is it way too energetic or just right?
And which AMP Gain do you use on DX340 with the Fei Wan?
It really sound great with Fei Wan. More of a laid back beautiful sound, full of resolution and naturalness. Use the SP3KT for a more aggressive sound with tubes. I use low with the amp plugged in.
