Since I have the MAX TI I don't thinking on other DAPs iBasso absolutely nailed it! It's worth every penny!
I concur! And my only request at the moment for the next Fw, I hope iBasso team @Paul - iBasso can put the DAC Volume setting (in Mango OS) into a more accessible spot, preferably in the main setting menu, where you can find Digital Filter setting.

I would email Paul with your request.

Ok, here is some latest DX320 MAX Ti audio p@rn for you to enjoy!

Under the hood :)

And, the MAX Family :)

If only on the strength of the replaceable batteries, as @Whitigir said, the 320MAX has taken the lead in my rankings!

And reading here that iBasso still services units 10+ years old!? That is how to win over and KEEP, customers!

Had a great evening yesterday with this wide, gentle, powerfull little big beast of a DAP. Not 100% convinced of it pairing with the Radiance (on some Forza noir cables) but, yeah, Rumours did sound real good.

The orientation of the volume knob takes some getting used to, as well as the way it works with the dial back for the balance some time :)

I like the (size of) the screen, a lot of the times with DAPs in cases swiping from the sides or top/bottom is tricky, with this its a breeze.

Mangoplayer/OS is cool, i like playing from SD and this does it.

Also, the looks of this are 10/10, right up there with the RS8.

A portable tube amp is coming from iBasso.

The prototype will be unvailed this weekend at Potafes summer 2023 in Tokyo, Japan.

According to this article,
- This portable tube analog amp from iBasso is called "PB5 OSPREY" (tentatively?)
- It's a reference display to hear the visitors' opinions.
- It has not been determined if this will be released atm.
- It has two Nutubes.
- It has 3.5+4.4mm line-in and 4.4mm PO on the front.
- It has a Type-C port (for charging?) and two switches (for power and gain?) on the back.

So no swappable batteries? Is this a protype or would this be closed the finished product? It looks thinner then I expected. Very unique looking design.

There is no clear information at this time. We'll have to wait for iBasso's official announcement.

However, in my personal guess,
- There are two screws on the back, so I suspect users will be able to replace the battery themselves.
- I expect the PB5 to be released in September as the iBasso 17th anniversary model.

The listening session was canceled this weekend due to the demo unit failure, but it might be fixed by replacing the defective parts. So, there might be a chance at the "headphone festival" in Tokyo on 15th (next weekend). Unfortunately I can't be there though...

Here is additional photos. According to him, the volume knob is the same as the DX320MAX Ti (step attenuator).

Is it just me or in ultimate mode the USB side drains really fast.
One battery shows 95%, the other 69%.
That was starting at 100% and maybe 2 hours of use. I can't see it lasting 13 hours

Has anyone tried their ZMF Calderas with the DX320 MAX? How does it drive it, sound impressions?
