Just unpacked mine and setting up now. What burn technique do you use. Volume etc.Yes but have not tried it yet. Its burning in with cable right now.
Using burn in cable which I set to normal listening volume with some IEMs. Normally I would just listen to music to burn in but using the DX340.//

Okay, just setup music etc. Low gain,60 volume and burn in cable. Now the fun begins.Using burn in cable which I set to normal listening volume with some IEMs. Normally I would just listen to music to burn in but using the DX340.

I used high gain but does not matter. I got this unit to make guides so SQ not that important as its not mine.

I am using the Mango mode. I like Mango and the Android mode. As the 260MK2 burns in, it opens up nicely, and to me, is different sounding compared to the original DX260. It has more separation and somehow a more liquid sound, which I guess is even more analog. Good dynamics and detail. I have been using the Utopia and some IEMs. I really like it with IEMs as the sound gets out of your head. It is also fast to cue up and to scan.
I do not think they made any tuning changes. If they did they did not advertise they did. How long have you had your unit? The Bloom loaner I have was one of the first shipped out. I am letting it burn in while using Dx340. I now have the Img FW for it.I am using the Mango mode. I like Mango and the Android mode. Putting my MK2 through it's paces and am very happy so far. Just got a pair of Focal Celestee and they are exactly what I wanted. Also tested the Noble Fokus Apollo and the DCA Aeon Noire 2s. The Noble were enjoyable, the DCA seems like they need more power and the celestee are just right for me so I'll be selling the other two. Looking forward to your guide so I can maximize the enjoyment.

I am letting the Bloom loaner unit burn in for at least 100 hours before doing any optimization. The Flash guide is now availablePutting my MK2 through it's paces and am very happy so far. Hey PaulThe CPU does not allow for Android 13 to be used.
The DX260MK2 will be Android 13.
I understand that you won't upgrade android version for OG, but will you still fix bug?
The charging issue after using DAC mode is still there, will you fix this?

Got the MK2 in today! Looks as classy as always and matching DC07Pro together on a desk. First impressions after 260MK1 and Cayin N6-III: this thing is like twice faster and smoother than N6-III, also I have never seen this much bright display, What, can't tell from memory, but I feel like it's even brighter than MK1, 15% of brightness is enough. Amazing contrast and colors, very little ghosting while scrolling, N6-III could only dream of this.
- There seems to be a big (1s) delay to wake up the screen, might be a bug.
- Same terrible wobble of volume wheel, can't activate by pressing on the corner, only properly works by pressing in the center of wheel to lock/unlock device. Wheel click under certain angle is much louder than MK1, not great, I'll try to put a piece of paper between wheel encoder and back plate to try to dampen this. Big oversights with wheel encoders on these $1k+ DAPs, at least MK1 was as good as new after 9 months of usage compared to skipping and even reversing of volume steps after 1 month of usage on N6-III.
- Couldn't install Hiby music from GPlay, had to load from third party. It says unavailable for this device, but I think it will be fixed in time.
Loading up my library for now, haven't listened yet.
Upd: just checked like 2 songs before I go to bed: Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow, Belinda Carlisle - World Without You.
Oh yeah, right as I click play; the stage, the scale, precision, separation and even depth are all there, I don't even need any burn in, can't notice any compromise in sound presentation.

Give the Mk2 a week burn in. I did that and if I already did not own the DX340 I would buy this Bloom supplied loaner. I have only disabled some not needed modules but have not done full optimazation. Have you noticed the new option in audio settings?Got the MK2 in today!
