im burning in mine. it was bought from classifids here but seller said only has around 20 to 30 hours on it.
That's great! Free burn in for you. ๐Ÿ˜‚
I'm also bought my Ibasso DX300Max Ti used from a seller in China, when I got my unit it's already sounds very good think he must use it quite a lot until he got his DX320Max then he sold it off to me.

I was just wondering - is there a way to control the DX260 music playback remotely, from my Android phone? I'm sure someone mentioned this somewhere back in this thread and I thought, at the time, that I wouldn't need to do that! Now I have a particular use case where it'd come in handy occasionally...many thanks

I think that is possible by installing the Bubble upnp application on both devices.

Thanks for that, ideally though I just wanted to play, pause and adjust volume from my phone

Hiby has something called HibyCast that does that. I don't think it works with other DAPs though... There's also Hiby Link but it only works with Hiby Player app.

Also you can use UPnP to cast from your phone to the DAP using apps like BubbleUPnP, mConnect, UAPP, etc.

There's always TeamViewer as well although I haven't tried on Android...

All are probably overkill for what you want.

I tried to install the Hiby cast on my Sony WM1ZM2, it donโ€™t work. It will only work for Hiby DAPs.

I really stunned with the sound quality of DX260 the more I listen, the better it gets!
Especially for this song and UM Mest MK1 gives me the goosebumps!

This is a music player not a phone. Not great? It works, I have not seen any issues with it and it is newer than many players. I listen to music not Android.
Well, maybe not an issue for the dx260, but Android updates make sure that apps like Roon and Amazon Music work, as well as providing security fixes, device fixes (e.g. the DX240 5gHz wifi is basically just useless), etc. I get that it doesn't benefit you, but more thought and less snarkiness is often valuable.
