I have the Monarch MKII and the DX240 AMP8MK2 on the way so glad to hear this. I was worried it could be a fatiguing combination.
If you get any fatigue with the stock MKII Cable....buy the TheiAudio Oceania cable...that cable refines the monarch MKI and II even more and adds 4D dimensional space to the music. So worth it for $199

Great thanks for the info
Also from my testing, AZLA Sedna xelastec tips bring out the most vivid details from bass, mids and treble on the DX240, however JVC spiral dots balance everything out nicely and increase the 3D spatial cues if you want a more relaxed sound. "Spinfit 100 Plus" ( not the original 100) are also very interesting via increased bass and a wider soundstage, smooth out the treble yet still keep things clear. those three tips are must haves for Monarch.

Aside from the excellent Sedna tips, I also recommend the Moondrop Spring Tips. They might seem narrow, but they stretch open to the size of the IEM nozzle, thus allowing a good amount of sound through without compromise, and offer an excellent seal.

Searching this thread and around but so far with no success, but on the latest firmware the 3 physical buttons (last, next,play/pause) have stopped working completely (meaning with the screen on or off). I've ensured the settings are all good and cycled them all on and off (using the physical buttons while the screen is off is a necessity for me) and tried to clear cache and standard reset to fix with no success.... Any body else had or fixed this issue? Next step is a factory reset but I'd prefer avoiding that if possible.

The volume wheel and power button still function as designed.....

Thanks.

Seems it needs a factory reset.

Is the dx240 going to get updated to android 11? I think the headfonics review of the dx320 mentioned that an update to android 11 on the dx240 was imminent.

Been debating between the dx320 and dx240, and I think I’ve settled on the dx240 for it’s size, price, and sound. The dx320 just seems like more than I need. Curious about the Shanling m6 ultra.

The only dap I’ve owned is the m3x. I was disappointed by the detail retrieval and treble roll off. Pretty happy with the questyle m15, but daps in general seem to be getting better.

According to the measurements, hiby r6 2020 is much worse than dx240..even the new r6 is still worse.
Below are the measurements links. All depend on your budget, preferences and so on..
