No problem

My review of dx240 is in the review section and covers a lot.

Waiting for others reviews so i can have a read too
I've read it, but it wasn't clear how amp changing would work, I'm getting it from China supposedly with leather case, cases not mentioned, but you never know, i just need a 4.4🤞🤞

Well, it is backward compatible, so only the Amp1/3 have line out. The Amp3 has balanced LO
Amp5 and amp7 have single ended line outs. Besides if the big Amp can accept balanced, thanks to you, Amp8ex works amazing aswell.

I am glad you are enjoying it, on top of that, the Amp8EX transistors are also obsolete. There is no way to produce it anymore….except DIY on used or old stock Amp8

Also, another thing to take notice is that the modules from Dx220 is transferable into DX240, so that means any new modules from DX240 will also be compatible toward Dx220 as well. Therefore, whoever is loving Dx220 and or modified DX220EX, can also look forward to the new possibilities from modules

Indeed, also still hoping amp10 will happen. For the whole line 200/220/240.

Ah good to hear that. Anyway I just pulled the trigger on the DX300 with Amp11 Mk2. My first flagship DAP.
I can't imagine that the dx240 with either amp can top the dx300 with the amp12. Maybe the dx240 can come close but is not supposed to beat the bigger brother. As i mentioned before, the dx312 defeated the a&k sp1000m in my own ranking (the a&k was slightly better in timbre, having bit deeper sound sig- not deeper stage). The dx312 is my first dap which can actually come close to the experience of listening the music live. The sound is naturally opened and the impression of listening to the headphones disappears very very often. If the size doesn't play the role for you, you will be probably happier with the dx300. Even the amp 11.2 which will be your stock, will blow your mind with the stage width.

I agree with you on all points. If the size is not decisive, I think the DX 312 also has the edge. Or you can afford both. 240 for on the go. But if I had to choose one of the two I would also choose DX312.

This is all very personal opinion/preference. Haven't heard DX300 with Amp12 but with whatever stock amp I heard it with I thought it was good but I wouldn't buy one. Haven't heard the 240 but I'm gathering that it's more of an evolution or refinement of the 220's sonics. If it were between 240 and 300, 240 is where I'd put my money if I were in the market for a new DAP.

Just bought this dap on 11/11 on HifiGo (hoping on some 11/11 discount but nothing on this sadly), shipped today.
My first really expensive dap (previously I had the Sony NW-A55), hope I'll like it, bought because of the output power to drive my (current and future) IEM.
BTW with this output power, will it be able to drive all the IEM? Because I was thinking (when I save some money in the future) to buy the Thieaudio Monarch as my endgame and I've read that the Monarch need a good amount of power to shine. My dream combo (for my economic possibility) would be the DX240 paired with the Monarch

I don't have the 240 but I think power is similiar to the 220. It shouldn't have any problem driving the Monarch.

I was browsing the dx300 and it said that all of the amp11 ports can be set to line out, which would solve my problem with a single amp.

I have MK2 and ordered DX240 mainly so i have a solid but light dap to take out.
Dongles are not a solution for Monarch mk2..but this new dap will be just the ticket
