Unless I'm mistaken, the philips 963sa does not have built-in 5.1 decoding. So then, is there a way I can use my soundcard as a decoder in order to make full use of my klipsch promedia speakers. That's the only way my wife will let one of those philips in the house

There's surround outputs on the back so it does have DTS and DD decoding capabilities.
