i'm getting a crackle in my right ear. if i unplug my source from the amp the amp still crackles. if i plug my phones into the source it's dead silent.

what can cause a crackle like this in this amp and how do i go about fixing it?

i'm looking at the tubes in it now and it looks like the two taller tubes aren't the same...

the right one is a zero inside a diamond shape and the left one has a diamond as well but it says "otk 42" inside it...

swapped out the big tubes for another set. seems to be gone. thanks anyway guys.

while i was at it i swapped out the phillips 8100's in it for the originals. those 8100's are pretty darn nice.
