In relation to the SR family, are all the Grado's as tough as each other (in regards to portability). Im thinking about getting some sr225's, thinking that due to its similar design, it'll be just as tough as the sr60's. So am i right? If not, why?

HI: It seems that most Grados are built the same way and the 225 are a very good sounding headphone. I had three of them. LOL. But recently I discovered the Alessandro MS-1 for 99.00 shipped and was very impressed with their sound at about half the price. So maybe you can do a search on both headphones. I mean for portable use and knocking around it might be better to use a less expensive headphone that sounds very good also.

All the SR series Grados will have the same general build until you get to the 325i's which have a leather headband and metal cups.

The MS-1s are based on Grado 125s.
