Need to buy new phones for Christmas. Recipients are 4- and 6-year-old lively music lovers for whom I have bought a digital keyboard. For the parents' sake I will also provide headphones so the tykes can play to their hearts' content without driving mommy and daddy up the wall.

So not sonic quality but durability is the prime factor. Availability in pink and purple would be a plus. Recommendations?

They do look durable. Anything maybe slightly less durable for a lot less than $100? I've found it prudent to pay not much money for instruments for the munchkins so far because they get real excited at first but it wears off in an instant. Hopefully attention span will grow as they do.

Look at the Koss RUK line. The RUK50 are apparently discontinued now, and going for around $13 on Amazon (that's a legitimate steal - they were pretty fairly priced back in the day at $60). And they come in pink and purple, and sport the Koss lifetime warranty.
