My Zen has been taken out of its slumber and getting pretty regular play again - mostly as part of my morning walk and for upbeat techno, house, trance, D&B etc... where it shines for me mostly. My choice this morning... sounded fantastic. Zen Pro is calling me - btw, did you know @F700 that Dunu are planning a tour of Zen Pro for existing Zen owners? - I don't think any dates etc as yet.

Dunu pm'ed me a few days ago regarding the ZEN Pro. They were ready to send me a loan unit, so that I can put them against the OG Zen. For some private reasons, I won't be able to perform an accurate comparison within the coming weeks. I might contact Dunu at the beginning of next year for this exercise. Let's see.

To be honest, with the cable, tips and source (+slight EQ) I am using with the OG ZEN, there is very little chance I will prefer the PRO version, hence not being in a rush to compare both. I am THAT satisfied at the moment

Still, please let me know if you are joining the tour and what are your thoughts about the PRO version.

Listening to this 2017 ambient/drone masterpiece right now. Four hypnotic tracks drawing you into the cold season. The ZEN, not really my first choice when it comes to Ambient, do good with Drone. Here, the recording quality of this EP allows the ZEN to bend their muscles on the reverbs, but there is some « agility » in the whole bass section that makes this record sounding powerful yet very refined. Another Bandcamp album I ended up listening not as much as I should.
