I have an mbox2 i've gotten working off my laptop with foobar 2000, which i use for various things. Its got a pair of 1/4 inch mono jacks labelled "monitors" which i believe are meant for powered speakers - they work decently enough for headphones with a suitable adaptor should i need a second pair (i jerry rigged one from an airline adaptor and 2 1/8 -> 1/4 inch adaptors...its good enough for what i need it for) and haven't blown anything up yet.
I'm wondering a 1/4 inch jack-plug -> male RCA plug would work if i wanted to plug it into an amplifier or other audio equipment. I'm assuming tis all similar analogue signals, and i won't cause anything to go wrong, but i figure i'd get a more educated opinion
