Hey guys.. I need some advice.
I need a closed headphone which I can use everywhere without getting bad looks..you know what I mean.

Also, I have to buy from amazon at reasonable price or a used cheap as I have credit at amazon and not much cash in hands atm.

I would save for HD650 and stuff but I need a closed one so that I can enjoy GOOD sound without bothering others.

I will get a portable amp in due course ..I do have an amp for home use though.

So which one it would be for me?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I like neutral and accurate sound production. As original and refined as possible. No use of EQ or whatsoever ever. I have a reasonbley decent component system at home so hoping to get phones with comparable quality and similar charastic.

Well, (A) HD600 is open, and (B) HD280 Pro has a poor sound (IMO). Dunno much about the DT990s.

( neutral flat sound )

*Cough*... let's try that again... as an open headphone, the HD600 cannot fall into the category of "best closed headphone."

Have you checked AKG K271? It has better sound than HD280Pro, is very well balanced (soundwise), is very comfortable and isolates quite well.
