Good evening,

my DT990 Edition is about to break and I need a replacement.

Basically the two most important things are that its great for gaming and that its comfortable. 95% of the time I play Valorant on a decent level and to locate footsteps and utility is really important.
I also wouldnt mind if its good for Spotify (german rap), Netflix, Youtube and Twitch too. But I guess most of it isnt the highest quality and it doesnt matter that much.

I also do have quiet a big head :grimacing:. For example, when using my old AKG 812 Pro and Shure SRH1840 my ears started to hurt, because the earpad was pressing against my earlobe.

I'm also looking for a new DAC/AMP.

My maximum budget for everything is 800$.

I started looking around and I really like the Sennheiser HD660s and Schiit Hel 2 combo.

Im very thankful for any suggestions and help! Im basically open for everything (prefer black though)

Best regards
Kevin

The HD660s and Schiit Hel 2 combo will work fine, but for your larger ears, use these Brainwavz HM5 angled oval sheepskin leather earpads and Modhouse Audio earpad fitting adapter for the HD660s (shipping from US to EU will be worth it, as the Brainwavz adapter is too flimsy):

Also, here is the best price that I found for the HD660s that will also should ship to the EU for cheap:

Something to know when using Sennheiser headphones is that the initial clamp force can be quite strong. It significantly lessens over time though. So when it's uncomfortable for you, clamping them around some Books (approximately the width of your head) for a night will help.
Alternatively you can consider buying a used pair that will already have reduced clamp.
