So, where can I get those and do some other Beyerdynamic phone's pads fit DT880? The target phones are supposedly from late 80's if it matters.

I would recommend contacting Jan Meier. right in your backyard.
From memory the velour pads are kinda the same for the oldX31 range and the new/old DT range as well.
if only grado could get something similar onto their headphones, they would be the best headphones bar none for everything, comfort included

I have a DT990 circa 1986. The new pads and head strap are great, it is like having brand new headphones again. You can order them direct from beyerdynamic.
