Just a quick question, I've seen people using Beyerdynamic ear pads on the 7506s but the videos usually use a different model of Beyerdynamic pads as examples.  Because of the round shape of the DT880 pads, has anyone put them on the more oval shaped 7506s and work well?

Beyerdynamic EDT 250V ears pads (used on the DT250/DT280) are the ones normally recommended for use on the MDR-7506.
Not sure why you would use the ear pads for the DT880, on the MDR-7506.
