hey guys i havent been here in a while

but i have a few questions..

on my dt770 pro headphones i seemed to have some kind of bass distortion i believe on the left ear cup. also the pads are starting to get stinky and torn from use.

how would i go about sending this for repair? will both the pads and the faulty cup be covered by the 2 year warantee? (i bought from meier audio).

You'd probably be better off asking Meier audio about this.................

Bass distortion? Sounds like rattling...remove the earcup (padding) and see if a hair is sticking through the padding and possibly touching the diaphragm. If so, remove whatever hairs that may be sticking in between...i had this happen recently with my 7506's and i pulled some hairs out and the rattling stopped.

As for the pads, i imagine you can buy replacements from beyer.
