Hi guys, my old DT770 Manufaktur all black is now busted. The earpads are very damaged, the center membrane part is all gone, but I already found the official leather replacements here:
https://www.amazon.es/dp/B008XHU9ZS...olid=1T63CCGGSP1TY&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Good. Now, I just need the headband, which is a bit loose. I found this:
https://www.amazon.es/SENNHEISER-HD...ie=UTF8&qid=1532618015&sr=8-40&keywords=dt770
Is this any good? Looks very easy to install. I could even put it on top of the existing headband (which is very flat by now) so I don't have to unscrew anything. Looks like it has a nice amount of padding so I hope it feels softer than the original one which made my head hurt after a while.
Will this work? please help
I would also need to replace the adjustment piece, which is very loose, so the cans fall down, but I can't find it on Amazon. Im talking about this one:
For now, what I have done is I got 2 small tweezers for hair, and I put them above the 3 point mark so it's held there in the position I find comfortable. It's a very ghetto solution but does the job for now.
If I can replace earpads, headband and tighten the adjuster then it will be like brand new. Sound wise it's still great. It's the 600 ohm version.
Thanks
