After much deliberation I finally decided to pick up a pair of dt770/80's and the iBasso D2 BOA...however I stupidly bought the 250ohm version instead of the 80ohm. I've searched through a few threads now and I fear that the BOA might not be able to get the best out of the cans, should I just send the 250's back and get the 80's or stick with the ones that were sent?

I drive my DT250/250 outta my D2 Viper. So I am pretty sure you should be fine.

after driving my 2005 dt990 250ohm with gilmore lite and littledot mk4se for several months, now i am just using it with boa and pico.
i dont have any complaints. imo, beyer dt770/880/990 250ohms are not that difficult to drive.
