I don't know that Sony model, but Headroom has a side view of the Senns on a dummy head on their HD 25-SP product page. Does that help?
They fit on your ear, not all the way around it the way the DT231's do. The outer diameter of the earcup cushion is [size=xx-small]looks around desk for precision measuring tools[/size] just about exactly the size of the bottom of a Nissin Cup Noodles (r) container, and the inner diameter is equal to the width of a Listerine PocketPacks (r) dispenser. Depending on how you position the earcups, you'll probably find that your earlobe is out in the open but much of the rest of your ear surface is covered by the pads. On my head they are not at all a tight squeeze but of course your mileage may vary.
