Has anyone attempted to go balanced on their DT1990's?

If so, how do you reach the driver? I was not able to pry the cup appart so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I made a balanced version of the DT1990 today and am very satisfied with the results I might say. Day and night difference in combo with the loxjie tube amp.
