I got mine and Guitar Center $1.99 no shipping charge sent I bought it in the store.Really great set of headphones. Killer bass. Sometimes a little to much bass.I find my self having to turn the bass down on recordings that are really bass heavy.

I tried a pair of DT770-80's on at the North. CA San Mateo meet, and was amazed at the comfort. Absolutely one of the best feeling headphones I've ever worn. Better than my HD 590's.

How do the 770's compare sound-wise to the 880's?

More bass from 180Hz or so down, and more bass impact. Mids perhaps a tad bit "wetter" or not quite as neutral/analytical as the 880's. Highs are pretty similar, but not as extended or airy. Smaller soundstage. Much easier to drive.
