Hey guys,
 
Does anyone know if the SB0880(Creative Sound-Blaster X-fi NON-HD) can power 250 ohm headphones?  My gf currently uses this setup and I'm wondering if the headphones can get ruined if the amp isn't good enough to power them. Volume is always 70% and up just to hear them well.

No, it does not damage the headphones. Is there any audible distortion (crackling on loud bass, etc.) at high volume ?

Not that I know of.  I hear hissing noises but I think its part of the song.  It only happens when a lot of noises are going on.  Other than that everything is nice and crisp.
