Speaking of generous, I have Pbirkett to thank for my pair. An audio store in the UK had them, but didn't ship to Finland. Pbirkett took care of that little problem for me.
I forget the name of the store (the receipt is in the box), but they probably don't have them anymore.

I just saw some DT531's at the local store (Hifimesta at Turku, Finland). If I remember correctly the price was around 160 euros. Is anyone interested?

The dt531s are available from a store in Sweden for 120EUR/160usd.

DT440s are kinda like DT531s... kinda. Not quite as groovy though.
My DT440s are my groovalizers, but I really wish I could find a pair of 531s. But, doh, everything I find is expensive. >.>;

Love you too ... er, um, I mean, I love them too.
Anyway, I think I should add that the reason I like them so much is that I got mine used in mint condition for less than $60. For $160 euro ... their price / performance will take a dive and there are other fine, if not better, phones like HD580 or K271s waiting in that $ range.
