Hey guys.

I'm looking for a drumming headphone because my ER6i cable is a bit damaged.

I mean a drumming headphone like for playing drums

Wants:
  • good isolation
  • comfort
  • durable
It needs to be unamped, stable on the head, and around ~100 new.

Thanks!

I don't have that much money (being a student).

The GMP 8.35 is at least $200 from what I remember.

For $100 you can get only the M-50 on ebay for $95 free shipping.

If you can swing $125, get thee to a used HD 25-1 II. It's the best option for the moderate price, imho.

Beyerdynamid DT770M is tool made for drummers. Quite comfy though bit sweaty thanks to leather pads, very good isolation, and they can last an atom war without scratch, they are that sturdy. My drummer friend likes them a lot.

However, they are not that cheap unfortunately.

I'm in the same boat and think that the hd280pro look like a good choice. I know of a drummer who uses that one. I'm also looking at the Vic Firth SIH1 and Beyerdynamic DT 770 M. That last one might be out of your price range.

The 280pro's are supposed to have excellent isolation, but kinda meh sound.
The srh440s isolate pretty well, but I don't know if it's what you're looking for.
Try to find a place where you can demo both.

There are places I can buy them, except it's $120...

The SRH440's are very hard to find for me.

Don't know why.

I'm a drummer, and if I didn't go IEM I would go HD-25. go -1 if you can stretch the budget or find them used, but the SP is a great alternative and often overlooked. The best of the available options IMO.
