Hi,

I'm planning to purchase a THX 789 and a balanced DAC (most likely the grace sdac balanced on massdrop, but still looking at other options). What I was wondering if is if the dacs in the aforementioned combo units sold on Drop measure the same as the standalone balanced unit? If so would I be able to use the dac on a combo unit to feed my 789 via the balanced option? Thanks in advanced.

I have the LCX+SDAC and I've been curious about the same. They should be the same components although apparently you always get a little bit more noise when you house things together. I'm also wondering how people connect their LCX/CTH+SDAC to the THX. Would you have to just use the 3.5 to double XLR?
