Is there a driver that allows me to use my sound card to decode audio from an AIW 9000? The analog output is very bad quality and I want surround sound.
The system runs Windows Server 2003, BTW.
I use a Sound Blaster Live 24 bit, with the S/PDIF output to a 5.1 digital amp. Now, S/PDIF input (from the AIW card to the sound card) is possible, but I'll need an adapter if I go that route (which I could not find a good source or pinouts for, and it's yet another connection to add to the wiring clutter). Therefore, I'd prefer a software method.
