"Drive-Fi" What are you driving?

I wish I could compete with some of you (Sleestack!). I'm a serious car guy, but some unfortunate limitations have kicked in recently.

My fleet now consists of a humble 1999 Chevy Blazer 4 dr (for winter and hauling things) bought used and with low miles 18 months ago, and my beloved BMW 1999 M3 in near mint condition (only 47,000 miles). I spent six months of very hard work looking the perfect E36 M3 and found it. It was in Atlanta, and I flew down bought it, and drove it home last June. After $4k in performance upgrades and a bit of required and preventive maintenance, I enjoy every moment with it.

Yes, I had always thought that, one day, I would be able to purchase a Ferrari, or Lambo, but it's never happened. So, I do what I can.

I love the E36 M3. Very sporty.

I wanna put a e36 engine in my future e30 M3, i heard the e30 can be swapped with any BMW engine perfectly

Normally a rather dull Ford Laser (1.8 four cyl, not quick but adequate). Yesterday, erm, this:

All I can say is it was a whole lot of fun, and never mind the power, the amount of grip these things have is un-freaking-believable!

I want more, dammit!

the lead sled.

single digit gas mileage. 10 passengers.
I mosey on up to 60 in about 15 seconds.

I have the biggest car so far. 19 feet from end to end.

The life preserver in the rear window is a nice touch. Just in case somebody goes overboard the land yacht, eh?

yep she's quite a juggernaut.

I should take a new night picture... The one I posted is nearly a year old.

I've now gotten red, white, and blue ropelights and strung them around the roof rack. Then there's a 200 watt inverter in the engine compartment, with a remote switch on the turn signal stalk.
