I must be getting senile - or just read all the posts but yours. Your advice was just what I was looking for.

My buddy with very limited funds "needs" (I'm insisting) something better than the DAC of his laptop, which means most anything. Thanks for the Fulla2 information; in addition to sounding decent (for $99), he will be glad for the volume control so he doesn't have to use his laptop for that purpose.
