I purchased a Dragonfly to use with my Lenovo Pro 2 laptop and Bose QC25s. When using the device it sounds like a record skipping every so often during each track. When I set up the speaker properties in the control panel, I used the 24 bit 44100 hz setting since the vast majority of my mp3s are at this quality. So I basically have two questions -
1. If I listen to higher quality FLAC files do I have to change the setting, my guess is I do, or should I change the setting to 88200 hz for all music. I thought this would be done automatically with the dragonfly but from reading the instructions it states it is important to set it for the correct format.
If I can't get rid of the hiccup or skipping problem then it will be returned. I am thinking of getting the Fiio X5 media player as it can serve as a DAC for my laptop.
