Hello everyone

I would like to buy a portable dac/amp for my headphone

For use with a laptop

Its very important that it doesnt need to be plugged into the wall

I came across this 2 in the about 300$ range im willing to spend on it

I really dont like wireless but as far as i know the Q5S can be used wired and has some extra features compared to the cobalt

On the other hand im looking for more a plug and play solution not something that needs a long setup

Also im not makeing music so no professional use just casual music and gaming

Get the cobalt if you want to have something very small with you at all times and it doesn't needs battery as is powered by your device. But if you want more features, better sound, more power get the Q5s, is no brainer.

Since i would use the q5s wired the battery doesnt matter xP

Also the Q5s is small enough

And better sound convinced me xD
I thought the cobalt is better for plug and play since the Q5s needs more of a setup session xP
