Yes, it’s true. I’ve had the DP-1XA for some time now, and frankly, I don’t enjoy using it. Maybe it’s too “high speed” for me, maybe it’s the finicky Android OS and GUI, but when I’m on the road, I’m finding myself leaving this DAP at home more often than not.

A travesty, you say? Perhaps. At the end of the day though, I’m just looking for something more... simple and streamlined.

That said, im looking for a DAP with the following features:

- Color, high resolution screen
- Fast and very responsive GUI and OS
- Excellent sound fidelity
- Expandable storage, at least 256GB, preferably 512GB (I’ll be reusing the memory cards from the DP-1XA)
- Ability to handle all common and high res, lossless and lossy audio files
- Good construction, elegant design, quality materials used throughout
- Wireless and Bluetooth capability
- Excellent battery life
- Replaceable battery (if possible)
- Doesn’t have to be 100% touchscreen; I kinda like dials and buttons (old school designs of yesteryear)

As far as budget, would like to stick to no more than $200 or so. If it’s a little more, and meets the above criteria, I’m all ears.

Thanks for your help! =)
