Well, the selling price is more than twice the list price for a new 6500, and it's a discontinued unit. Also, this one for auction is used making it worth around $300 on a good day.

i find that those are the people who ruin ebay for serious bidders, especially when they delay the item from being re-auctioned...

Ebay sucks. Sometimes. I bought a memory card off of it, and I can tell it's fake (Sony 2gb pro duo) from a1memory. I wish I had a credit card, I really want to make a seller account cause I ahve lots of stuff to sell.

My friend actually got caught for shill bidding. I have no idea as to any of the details, but I found it kind of surprising. First time iv'e heard of ebay actually monitoring it. HE has been banned for a long time.
