So here's the deal. I'm looking to buy a 5.1 setup.
The MAIN reason I want this is for movies, and to play music from my PC, and my guitar.
I want to be able to play music from my PC AND guitar at the same time (like back tracking).
Now I have an M-Audio Fast Track. It has two outputs (red/white).
How can I have both the audio from my PC, and from the M-Audio playing at the same time from the speakers? I assume the receiver from the package I linked above can only output one of the input signals at a time, and doesn't double as a mixer. Do I need a mixer? If so, will the mixer muddy the sound from my sound card, and M-audio? If not, what do I need?
I just talked to a rep from Onkyo. He didn't seem to have the slightest clue what I was talking about, nor was he of any help. I can only imagine how much worse it would be if I actually went to a big box store and asked them in person.
