I got some Sony MDR-1R's late November and started to have an issue where the cable connects started to rattle. In another forum I saw a fix for this issue but for the price ... I refused to "fix it myself".
 
It has been over 30 days but Amazon agreed to give me a refund.
 
So here I am .. Looking for another recommendation. 
 
These headphones are to use at work and I don't want noise canceling. Had the bose QC-15's and I didn't like how they made me feel after wearing them all day. 
 
I would also like to have iPhone controls and mic.
Straight cable .. not coiled.

I mostly listen to AudioBooks , Jazz .. Classical.
 
My price range would be under 250.00
 
I had my eye on the AKG Q460's but I kind of have a big head and the reviews say they may be a little tight.
