As a fan of temporary anesthetics since the old icebox.com days, the first thing I downloaded with my new DSL connection was Rejected, Don Hertzfeldt's newest movie. Let me tell you, this is one of the funniest things I have seen in my life. Simple animation with absolutely twisted situations. Download it from Kazaa (lite) and then buy the DVD.

Ugh, my brother and cousin subjected me to his crap. It was very difficult to get the annoying little inane phrases from his movies out of my head considering my brother and cousin were also my summer co-workers. "My spoon is too big!" Bah...

Anyway, I would never buy the DVD. But the movie "rejected" is nice in a college-project sort of way. Pretty funny -- worth downloading. I think you can get it from some websites as well.
