HD25-1 II / HD650 Hybrid.

Sorry if this has already been asked - I'm on incredibly slow internet and don't have the patience to search the forum.

Anyway, what I'm looking for is essentially a HD25-1 II / HD650 hybrid. I love both headphones (I have them both), but neither of them offer what I'm looking for. What I want is pretty much a HD650 with more bass, but not overly so. As much (if not a little more) thump than the HD25's and the clarity/openness of the HD650.

I've got an ODAC + O2, Titanium HD and 3rd Gen iPod Touch + E11.

Just going to take a shot in the dark: AKG K550. Have you researched the Beyer DT1350 yet?

I haven't looked at the DT1350, but did a little research on the K550. From what I've read, it'll be a little too closed sounding for me.. unfortunately, because I really like how clean they look.

I'll read up on those Beyer's though

The DT1350 are closed. Oops.. I misread your initial requirement on something being more open like the HD650. FWIW, the DT1350 do isolate extremely well.
