I know this isn't technically a headphone amp, but this was the closest forum I could find. I'm debating buying a Saga and am wondering if switching it to passive mode turns off the tube (i.e., the heater). Or does it keep running so you can switch back at any time without delay?

Sort-of answering my own question: from perusing the online manual, the answer seems to be no, the tube stays powered (there’s no mention of a delay when switching back that I can find)
