My questions are, will my HFI-550 require a new sound card for my laptop, or an amp? And where would I buy a pair for cheap that will let me keep the factory warranty, I noticed a few bad reviews of other headphones that said that buying from amazon does not let you keep your warranty?

I do not really want a pair of headphones that require a sound card or Amp, just something better than my SkullCandy Hesh, and from what I hear these are ten times better.

NO you dont need an amp they sound really great without one, but amped they do sound EVEN better.
