Hello

I bought a pair of 99 classics and swap the earpads at least once every 2-3 days to listen to different types of music. I use the stock pads for metal / rap and a knockoff pair of MSR7 pads for everything else.

I think I've noticed a change in sound over time - it looks like the back end rings that hold the pad in place have gotten a little stretched - but I want to confirm with this group and, if so, see if any of you have suggestions for how to deal with it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's not the changing of earpads per se but that you're putting on enough wear on both pads over time, even with the 2 to 3 day rest periods to get them back somewhere to their original shapes will still not be as new, more so if during the 2-3d days they're on the headphones you wear them for several hours each day.

Yeah that's what I was assuming......is there a way to do this without affecting the shape / wear-and-tear of the pads?
