I'm unsure whether to get another 128GB Micro SD from Sandisk or go for the 200GB. I don't think current firmware on the X5 supports more than 128GB at the moment

It is not specifically stated to be supported, but if it is the same type of micro sd as the 128 gb there is a good chance it will work. Take a look or ask in the fiio x5 thread.
