Yeah, i tend to leave my earphones in an air conditioned very cold room all the time , so im wondering if they might do any harm to my earphones in the long run.
Any opinions on this , guys?

Unless you live in Siberia or Antarctica the cold shouldn't affect armature drives unless exposed to extreme temperatures.

Ah alright, but i remember there being once where i left a pair of a customs exposed to cold air the entire night without a casing and the next day it sounded really weird as if affected by the cold

there will be some change in sound, the cold makes the armature a bit stiffer, barely so, but if you pay close attention you can tell.

Sometimes, i happen to forgot to put back my ortofon back into its case after use, leaving them exposed to the cold temp overnight, and yes, they can sound a bit weird after that, but once warm they'll get back to normal. Giving an impression of a really quick 'burn-in' session
