Does the "clear" Westone Elite cable oxidize?

Im pretty sure all cables oxidize unless its made out of silver like the new Twag's i think thats the name and some others but they are in excess of 200 or so bucks. The clear ones just show the oxidation and the black hides it, im sure someone will correct me if im wrong. This is what ive read through my research.

That makes sense. I'll be getting a black Westone cable then.

Thats what and why i ended up doing it as well. I really wanted a clear because i think it looks cooler but i would have to buy a new one as soon as it turned "green" so i just went with the black. Hopefully i can afford one of the silver ones someday lol.

I bought my Westone's 4 years ago and they stayed clear as long as i kept the desiccant charged. I left the band about a year ago and just checked them and it had gotten light blue. I wonder if i had kept up on keeping the desiccant charged that it would have been ok.
