Hi everyone.
 
Im planning to buy Sony MH1C and i wanna know if the control buttons and mic is working with iphone. I have searched it online but couldnt find :/
 
If not is there any model without controls and mic? and last if not could you please recommend a similar IEM ?

Check the MH1C thread as well, I seem to recall the rare crop of people having it work but most will testament to the controls not working with the iPhone. It did not work for my iTouch as well. 
 
Oh, and for alternatives, any budget in particular? (Gauging ~20-30 as the Sonys are around there). Genre preferences, comfort, isolation, sound sig (though I guess we've already established it being something similar to the MH1C)?

Yea I have checked the thread, only mic is working not volume. 
 
Is there any other Sony using the same driver?, or closest earphone with these features

Brand bias won't exactly get you far (in this case there is little semblance of a house sound). 
 
Again, stating preferences would be much more helpful as there'll never be a 100% match and it's easier to narrow something down that way.
