Hello Headphone users,

I adore listening music and as I possible find anytime I listen music from my ipod or PC. So everytime using headphones and use them in high volumes makes them to be broken or statics? I use AKG K-450 for listening but sometimes Sennheiser HD-650 just in case not to overuse them a lot. If overusing does any harms I plan to buy some cheap stuff.

Thank You.

I'd say it's pretty difficult to break your headphones unless you have a damn powerful amp and listened to them on ridiculously high levels all the time. That being said, I have read that the HD650 headband is prone to break with heavy and constant use.

No, but listening at high volumes can break your ears. Be careful.
