Does it matters how iPod is formatted, i.e Windows or Mac??

It is!
New iPod's come with FAT32 file system from the factory. While some older iPod's came with HFS+ as file system from the factory. Restore the iPod in iTunes and it will reformat to the file system matching the OS. FAT32 for MS Windows, and HFS+ for Mac OS X.

FAT32 formatted iPod's work with MS Windows and Mac OS X, while HFS+ formatted iPod's nly work with Mac OS X (not MS Windows).
The firmware is identical, its just the partitions and file system that differ...

Ok, solar power sounds warm (similar to geothermal but drier sounding), wind sounds cold and airy, hydro power would sound liquid.
