Does FLC8n or d pair well with Fiio x5 iii?

Been seaching but I've seen lots generally positive comments about pairing FLC8s with X5 iii (If you can ignore the little bit of hiss it seems) but not seen anything about FLC8n or d with the X5iii yet.

Anyone got both these?
