Quick question. A friend of mine recently got the Clix2, and I was helping him figure out how some of the features work. Also thought I'd try a quick SQ and gaplessness comparison with some sample Ogg tracks.
First problem, I couldn't transfer the Ogg tracks in MTP mode so I switched it to MSC. At this point the Clix2 prompted to format the device. This of course obliterated everything he had on there, but at least we got the tracks transferred.
So, my real question is: Why didn't the Clix2 read any of the Ogg tags into its database? When browsing by albums, it lumped them into one album called "Unknown Album" sorted in alpha order by file name? I also added some MP3 tracks and those tags were imported just fine.
Is this expected behavior? In my searches I saw that the Clix1 behaved this way, but the Clix2, too?
I'm a bit confused as the vibez doesn't have this problem. And why would iriver go through the trouble of adding support for the Ogg playback but not the tags?
Thanks.
