Hey guys,

as I understand the audio latency is the time a signal needs from "starting it" until actually getting it processed and played.

So I wonder if it matters at all for playback of music?

Basically it just means my song would start playing after a few millisecond of delay. And when stopping I will also get a short delay. But the song itself will just be played like it should?

Latency should only be an issue if you are playing say a keyboard hooked up to your laptop via a software programme. Depends on your software though. I use ASIO4ALL via windows 10 that negates the latency lag but only when playing live music.
