I use siltech 4-120 cable in my Stax4040,arcam cd 23 combo+my
portable combo[see 3inch exotic choice pics in diy]
This cable is no longer a current model, the lengths I have are
second hand.
I have not listened to a vast amount of different brands,
but my experience is that ics can make or break a system or enable you to fine tune it to your preference in musical presentation.
Though like with all components it is a compromise.
I find my set up using the siltech is very very revealing playing to the Stax/Arcam strengths but woe betide a toppy compressed recording,though even hiss and tizz sound nice on this combo because it sounds part of the recording and not a noisey system.
Not that I have a particular fondness for hiss and tizz though.
Does anyone else have experience with siltech?
